A day at the point

Got up at 3am yesterday morning to drive a few hours south to see the sun rise and and set and everything in between at Crescent Head. Didn’t get a whole lot of colour at either ends of the day, but the wind was south and there were waves all day.

I swam the length of the point for 4-5 hours with the camera… trying to get a good water shot, it was far from classic Crescent Point, but there was the odd moment. I surfed my mini simmons for a few hours.. perfect craft for those long righthand walls and sat under a green pandanus tree for rest of the time watching the clouds sweep across the northern sky. First light around 5am and last light around 8pm makes for a long day in the sun… sort of cooked myself I think.

XS surf Woolgoolga deal of this week is for the girls with 20% off all ladies spring suits!! but it doesn’t end there you can then score a 50% off a new towel on top of that… go see Brett and the team!

Point Waves – Pandanus Trees – Sunstroke ….and some tasty tasty smoothies from a corner health shop in Creso
