Buderim rainforest

The Sunshine coast is not all about the beaches you know!! Only short drives inland will put you in the middle of some beautiful rainforest pockets. One of those spots is Buderim, only 15 minutes off the coast of Maroochydore and right next door to the small township is a state forest, a forest once entered feels like you are a million miles from civilisation.

The walk in is nothing, maybe 300-500 meters and you arrive at a cute little waterfall that cascades down a pretty stream as far as you want to walk along. Vegetation is lush green and if you arrive super early in the day you can have the whole place to yourself. We did for a hour or so before a few lads rolled in and started to create some epic rock castles. See their works of incredible Ephemeral Art below. Still working out how he got those things to balance.
