If you ever go to Tasmania, the Cradle Mountain National Park has to be on top of your list of places to experience. We had 5 nights here and while the temperature never got into double figures we did have the most amazing time.

Every morning and afternoon we visited Dove Lake which looks on to an almighty and beautiful mountain range….and it never gets old, the landscape and weather changes before your eyes. We got to experience it with blue skies, rain, hail and snow!! oh and with gale force winds at times too. Every one of its moods were perfect and equally as impressive and I am so glad we got to visit this incredible part of Australia. It will definitely go down as a highlight of our 2016 road-trip around OZ.

….One morning I arrived at 5.30am and stood in the exact same spot, totally in awe of this spectacular scene. By 8.30 I think I had only taken 3 photos, I just stood and took it all in…. I lost all concept of time and if it wasn’t for a hungry belly I may have stayed there looking for another 3 hours!!
