Gold Coast evenings are something special huh?? I know why so many people move here. The last 3 times Ive been to the Goldie I have spent the sunset hour at Snapper Rocks and each time it has had a pretty amazing feel to it. There is always epic light, the place is always buzzing and the waves are somehow pretty fun even when there shouldn’t much happening. Yesterday morning D’bar was nearly flat, but by the arvo there were some round little tubes funnelling down the first part of the Super-Bank. Its definitely surf city here and one of their local boys is gunning for a world title right now in Hawaii, should be decided today, We might be in party central today if that happens!

XS surf has just stocked up with a heap of new boards and they are putting them all on sale straight away!!   20% off all surfboards until the 23rd December… chrissy presents anyone??

The new range of Pacific Lines Mals and mini mals- 7’0 up to 9’2 in glass and epoxy. Shaped by long time North Straddie shaper Bob Minty. He has been crafting these boards on waves like Cylinders since 1979. Go see Brett and the team at Woolgoolga.
