Lennox to Byron – the magic miles

Who doesn’t love the stretch between Lennox Head and Byron Bay hey?? We were lucky enough to jag a perfect week of weather and waves to round out the last few days of Autumn. If you haven’t explored the area you really have to do yourself a favour! The sweeping headlands, crystal clear water and miles of sandy beaches provide endless opportunitiesĀ for beach goers and surfers…so good that you will never want to leave…. and plenty don’t!

We spent most of our days around the Lennox area and the Autumn swells were on fire. Multiple point breaks were all in top form and the water was still fairly warm, every day cleared to perfect sunshine and mild temperatures. If you are going to book a holiday on the north coast our tip is go late Autumn, outside of school holiday time and during the week if possible. The main street of Byron was quite.. heck we could park anywhere we wanted!!… thats rare and the lineups weren’t too crowded especially at the lesser known spots. Photogs will never stop clicking either, so much to point the lens at.

Next time we check in there is a good chance we will be a fair way further north…. winter is creeping in and we are chasing that sun… Looking forward to sharing the inspiration and tips as we move forward!
