During July we had a couple of quick stop overs in Coffs while drifting south for a bit and then again on the way back up to the Sunshine Coast.
We were in Coffs to service some clients and to photograph the indigenous “Naru surf gathering” Comp for Surfing World magazine.
They had a beautiful warm weekend with plenty of laughs, good times and fun waves at Park beach for the whole day. The vibe was epic, the crew were friendly and everyone was super salty and super happy. Stoked to be a part of such a great event.

Also got up before dawn to shoot a few of my favourite places in the golden hour. So good to catch up with old mates and reacquaint myself with some Coffs coast magic. Love this time of the year when the sun is so far north in the sky. Little one minute video of a surf shoot below will give you a small insight into our photography:
