To be on the South Coast of New South Wales during the autumn months is such a treat. The beaches, coves and bays are some of the most magical in all of Australia. We have been lucky enough to visit this area 3 or 4 times over the last few years and each time we fall more in love with the region.

This time around we have lucked into one of the best swells on the east coast since last June and I can tell you there are stacks of spots that can handle the juice. Add to that some super warm water, days in the mid twenties and offshore winds and you have got a pretty epic surf trip combo.

One of the absolute highlights of our last 16 months on the road was swimming with Fur Seals off Narooma a week ago. I can’t believe we have been to the South Coast 4 times and this was our first experience with playful critters. We plan to go on another Seal swimming adventure in the next few weeks if we get the right weather conditions…. Can’t wait!! More goodness from the south coast coming soon.
